By installing or using Feedkeeper, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the extension.

What Feedkeeper does

Feedkeeper is a Chrome extension that hides posts on Instagram and X that match filters you write in plain language. Hidden posts are collapsed, not deleted, and can be revealed at any time. Classification is performed by Jev, a language model operated by Typesafe AI, which you connect with your own API key.

Your API key and third-party services

You are responsible for obtaining a Typesafe AI API key, for keeping it confidential, and for any usage fees Typesafe AI charges. Your use of Typesafe AI is governed by their own terms. Parakeet Labs is not a party to that relationship.

Instagram and X

Feedkeeper is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Instagram, Meta or X. You remain bound by those platforms' terms of service. Those platforms change their websites regularly, and Feedkeeper may stop working, fully or in part, without notice.

Acceptable use

You agree not to reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the extension, and not to use it in a way that breaks the law or the terms of the platforms it runs on.

No guarantees

Feedkeeper is provided as is. Filtering relies on a language model and will sometimes hide posts you wanted to see, or show posts you wanted hidden. We do not guarantee accuracy, availability or fitness for any particular purpose.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Parakeet Labs is not liable for any indirect loss arising from your use of Feedkeeper, including missed content, API charges from your provider, or actions taken by Instagram or X on your account. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under French law, including towards consumers.

Intellectual property

Feedkeeper, its name, logo and code are the property of Parakeet Labs. You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the extension for its intended purpose.

Changes and termination

We may update these terms or discontinue Feedkeeper at any time. The current version is always published on this page. You can stop using Feedkeeper at any time by uninstalling it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably falls under the jurisdiction of the courts of Lyon, without prejudice to the mandatory rules that protect consumers, including the right to use a consumer mediator.
